WeeWork Foundation was created as a support to programs and organizations that are effectively working to encourage volunteerism in today's youth.
According to a 2012 report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, volunteerism has declined.
Our hope is that if children engage in service at an early age, they will learn compassion for others and carry that with them into adulthood.
So, we've been instilling the virtue of volunteerism in youth of all ages and backgrounds since 2010.
Let's change the world for the better, together
"In total the food you donated to our school pantry program weighed about 500 pounds. With the cost of the food, supplies and facility, you gave us almost $6,000 and about 500 hours of time. The partnership between the kids, kids donating/packing and kids getting the food, is really an inspiring one."
- Kristen Hershberger, Volunteer Manager at CFBSA
"We are blessed and grateful to have your support for the clubs. The events that WeeWork conducts lift our kids spirits and show them that kindness exists "out there". You are teaching your kids a tremendous life lesson at the same time. Congratulations!"
- Lorraine Morgan, Vice President of Fund Development & Communications at Boys & Girls Club of Tucson
